Please join us for Crossing Party Lines’ first in-person meeting since the beginning of COVID. We’ll be meeting in Sellwood Park in Southeast Portland to give us lots of room to spread out. Wearing a mask is at your discretion, but please be prepared to respect other people’s feelings of safety.
The official meeting runs from 6:30 to 9:00. However CPL volunteers will be at the park from 4:30 on to make sure we get the tables we need. Feel free to come early and hang out with us.
First-Timers, this is your chance to learn what Crossing Party Lines is all about and meet others interested in talking to the “other” side.
Regulars, come reconnect with fellow CPL members, socialize, and talk politics.
We have no prepared topic for this meeting, but will provide poster board in case anyone wants to set up an area where people can congregate around a proposed topic. We’ll also provide a clipboard for collecting ideas for the next meetings.
Cake and iced tea provided. Please feel free to bring drinks and munchies. Please note we do not have the park license that allows alcohol.
