One of our members recently reached out to us with this suggestion for a topic:
“How about a session where everyone submits their stereotype references for various political groups, we put them in a hat, and draw them out at random having anyone who self-identifies as the group explain why they accept or reject each as valid?”
We tried it, and liked it so much that we’re doing it again.
Come prepared with at least one or two stereotypes you would like to see either challenged or verified. We’ll ask you to share them with the moderators via chat and they will do their best to get as many discussed as possible.
